A couple weeks ago, I tried to take Septa up to Philadelphia and saw the train leave the station as I was running up the steps. Today was another one of those trips and fortunately did not end up as one of those 'missed it by that much' moments. Today I came into the train station and saw that it was 'all aboard' so I ran up the steps to get to the train (without a ticket) and saw the train hadn't yet arrived so I ran down to the ticket counter to buy an all day pass... and when I ran back up the train still hadn't arrived (it was a few minutes late). I guess the train was making up for last time - leaving early :p

I had one of those "Murphys Law" days with Philadelphia public transportation. Took the SEPTA from wilmington to center city, planning on getting off at Market East Station - except the train shut down at the stop before Market east. No worries... I just got off and started to walk towards Market East... I got out my GPS to figure out which way to go towards the station - then the GPS died on me. Heck of a time too... well at least I had a backup of the intersection to go to in my cellphone so I could figure out the numeric street to head towards.

Then on the way home I took a greyhound bus - and the driver pulled over on I-95 so he could use the restroom on the bus. Eight miles or so short of Wilmington. LOL
